With food bank visits up 60% in 2023, urban gardener Ruth Tschannen is even more determined to build community and teach her neighbours how to grow food and flowers in unconventional places. When Ruth crosses paths with Joy at the roundabout, she becomes Joy's garden mentor, encouraging her to think outside the box. Volunteers gather to celebrate Ruth and the power of plants to unite the community.
